Default How to reset oil life remaining?

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra and was curious about changing the oil in my truck. I wanted to knwo if there was anything that i need to do in order to reset the remaining life of my oil back to 100%? Also i had the dash telling me that the oil in my truck was low and this light came on at 25% oil life remaining does anyone know if that is a pre-warning. I checked the level and it was a little low, but i just want to make sure. Thanks for anyone who will be willing to help me out.

Not sure if its the same as my 01 but I turn the key on (not motor) and pump the gas pedal 5 time really quick. You will then see the light flash on your dash, then start it right up and you should see your change oil light flash a few times. That means its reset. Remember its set at 4500 change intervals not 3000.

Just scroll to the oil life remaining page and then press and hold the check mark. It will reset to 100%.

i known on my 01 you had to turn the key to on (but not running) and pump the gas pedal 3 times and on the third pump you held it to the floor until the light flashed

This solution did also work with my Silverado 2004 mod.

Applicable procedure should be in your owners manual. Mine is.

2000, key on, pump accelerator three times.
