not that it really matters, but are those legal at all? i would like to know so if i get one i wont go blowing it at cops

 

I saw a video of a guy blowing that at a cop! I luaghed until my cheeks were sore!

 

as far as legality goes, I think that as long as you only use it in situations that you would use a normal horn, you would be alright. but the only thing they could really write you up for is improper use of horn and disturbing the peace of course.

 

Popo's right ...but check with your local PD ...some department's don't care ...but others are really strict about noise ordinances. The city that I live in a very stict. If they can hear your radio beyond 50 feet, you will get a ticket.

 

Definitely check your local laws. I'd only use it when necessary. We have stereo ordinance here, but it only applies to stereos. This thing doesn't replace your regular horn. It is on a seperate switch. Common sense should be engaged. I wouldn't be blowing it at geriatrics. You may cause a heart attack.

The videos were shot in Orlando, "I Drive" area. The cops don't take kindly to those folks, so be careful guys.

 

Holy crap that was funny. If you get it you should also get some sort of detachable light and stick that on your grill. Turn out the other lights come up behind someone driving at night, I'm sure you see where I'm going.
