Does anyone have that air box lookin thing on your intake? (Its like half way down the intake tube on the bottom and looks like another smaller air box). I removed mine when I did my TBS and it makes a ticking sound under the hood now. It sounds like air being sucked in thru the intake. I was thinking that the piece I removed kept the intake quiet and now that it was gone, you can hear air being sucked in at idle ( the ticking sound being the intermitent sucking action of each cylinder ). Either that or I'm worried the all the mods I have done are messing up the ECU settings at idle, causing the engine to tick. As far as I can tell tho its not a leak. Any thoughts?

On my 99' I have 2 air ducts to the left of my air box that go into the larger fender........Here a a thought for a free mod?.........I removed the larger one making the hole go from about 3" diagonal to a just about 6" diagonal. I then took a piece of the flat rubber insulation (goes around engine bay to seal engine bay and hood) from next to the air box and attached it to make a air scoop if you will. Kinda like this......(excuse the poor quality I used my phone)...

....Oh and the top one is the old remove the air bladder thingy and shove a paint can cap on in.....
