I have a 1992 Chevy Silverado that just started jerking and making a very loud clunking noise when turning and accelerating it almost sounds like something is binding up and the whole truck shakes violently when it does it.

 

Mine is doing the same. Did you figure out what it was in your truck?

 

Check your front hub bearings. They may not move when you shake the tire so Jack up the truck to shake. Even then you may not detect one or both as being bad - but that’s most likely your problem. RockAuto sells them very reasonable and they ship fast!
