clunking noise
dear members,
i just bought a 2007 silverado crew cab 1500, and i noticed that when i turn i hear and feel a clunk thru the steering wheel, it seems like a suspension problem, but i checked all steering components, shock, coil and ball joints, all seem to be tight and no issue. the clunking is on the drivers side only. i previously had a 2004 silverado crewcab and it seems like it is the same problem i have with my 2007. the steering u joint was making a clunking noise, thankfully it was in a service bulletin. has anyone heard of a service bulletin regarding that noise, if not any suggestions or ideas to fix this problem. thanks vic
