i have tried the switch trick and it doesnt seem to work.

i'm a newbi to chevy also,so i dont know if you have it or not
on my 05 2500 i pulled the drl fuse under the hood.
i actually just put it back in today.

Can I just replace the whole switch assy from a newer truck that has the option to turn off the lights?
