Default Leaking whee bearing?

Happy New Year All!
I was washing my 2003 slverado 2500hd 2wd and noticed some grease splatter in the passenger side rear wheel well. Is this a bearing a seal gone bad? I would like to fix this myself if I can, any recommendations?
Cheers!

I highly doubt any grease from the wheel bearing would ever leak out ... it's a sealed hub on that truck. I'd say it's possibly brake fluid from the caliper, or something dripping down in there from higher up (the engine, radiator, etc)

Drum or disk brakes?

Pull the wheel and drum and inspect......if disk, it will be all over the rotor if the seal is leaking. If the seal is leaking, chances are the bearing is toast. Can you hear anything (gravelly sound)?
