How did you match them up? Match the colors or did you mark the original ones before you remove the old bed?

it sounds likewhen you put the bed on you pinched the ground for the brake light so its feeding throught the blinker to the ground

You could get a friend to help push the break pedal, blinkers, headlights etc while you checked everythign with a test light just to trouble shoot and find out where the problem is and isnt. You could do it without help but it just might make it a little easier on you not having to get up and down a bunch of times.

Now that i think about it i had a problem similar to that on my 95 Z71. It took me a while to find the problem but believe it on not the problem what with the hazzard light switch. I was broken off on the inside. I never did fix it but i did rig it by using some tie wraps to hold the button down and in the proper place.

I had to do the test light thing just to wire up my led light strip. Its a pain but its the only way to get the wires all sorted.
