Hey all, new to the forums. Got a 97 Sierra last month (60k miles). How do turn the head lights off while the truck is running? Do I need some relays to shut them off?

 

On my old truck (it was a 96) if I pushed the emergency brake pedal down very slightly where it wasn't engaging the brake the daytime lights would turn off. Can't remember who told me, but it worked. If you play with it you can see exactly how far you have to push it down. I remember is wasn't much at all. Let me know if it works on your 97 as well.

 

Press the dome light button near the head lamp switch on and off 2 times. Do it again to turn them back on.
