locks wont cycle

i was programming a keyless to my 95 z71 and i ground the thing and the locks still wont cycle. what shoud i do

yes the window sticker is still in the glove box from the place i bought it

OK..SOMETIMES its just a pain..keep trying to jump 4 &8(i think),if it just will not,try disconnecting the battrery a few seconds

I actually had to go online and find/try about four different techniques before I got mine to work.
