the fact that its ridiculous and ILLEGAL in most states due to the sound familiarity to trains... good luck with it.

im not to sure, ask a cop out there. i know by me in IL we cant have them. the only ppl aloud to have them here are pd,fire, ems(thats pa's) people put them in but if you get caught they make u pull it out right then and there. As for the horns ask the cops also. by me they stoped the train horns( pple bitching) so when you hear a train horn by me its a BAD sign,( job security for me but still bad)

Default Just sayin'!

My wife and I were at the movies in front of the theatre when some punk kid in a ghetto impala let off a rip on his train horns. I am not typically phased by horns for I hear them all day, but the little old lady sitting 20 feet away from me almost went into cardiac arrest when it went off. It is probably the most pathetic form of ethnic engineering to a car or truck I have ever seen. My wife doesn't cuss..but boy she sure spouted off a couple words at the jerks driving the Impala. Those horns will just cause you grief and probably an *** whooping by a bigger and badder dude in a Toyota Prius. Just sayin'

I agree with u 100% chrt396!! There is a time for those horns for use when I had them. Drving around south Texas to run some drilling rigs we have a crap load of deer!! And I mean a lot. Here they call them Texas Speedbumps. I would blow mine to scare them before the road noise did so they would run off earlier than last second. But I only had one horn not the triple.

there is a time a place for the horn and pa, but there sweet. the pa you can get a cb with the pa and put the speaker in your grill or under the truck like i did on my 99 sierra. i also have one of those music boxes that play tunes, animal noises, and sirens. nothing is funny than being in a traffic jam and playing a cow noise and watching peoples reation. its really funny. as for the horn you can buy them online but you gotta buy the compressor to fit somewhere on your truck plus the hosing and switch. but its worth it.
