1993 k2500. I want to bring my plow mount closer top my truck by about 5 inchs. but the front clip has a slight v shape to it so can only really bring it in about 2 inchs. Is there a Straight front clip that would fit?

Also when i desengage from 4x4 hi or low and start to drive i hear a bang bang bang bang coming from the transfer case and you can feel the bang in the transfer case level. I think the front axle might not be disengageing properly. any ideas?
