Major/eggs
I've tried Goo Gone, soap and water, and 3 complete washes and that Goddamned egg won't come off. I'm terrified that if I scrape too hard, I'll have a couple square feet of paint missing. My truck was 13 years old, and it didn't have a single dent, ding, or major scratch, and then this happens.
The worst part is, it never would have happened where I live. I've been staying with a buddy about an hour closer to Seattle, and he lives in a **** area of town, so my parking choices are slim. Either the in the street, or 2 miles away at a park'n ride in an even seedier part of town.
Keep an eye on your newspapers. If I catch them, you'll read about it.

I've read that Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion or any hand lotion does the job. Gently rub the lotion on the egg and let it stand for ten to twenty minutes. If it starts to dry, add some more. Gently rub off, then wash .
Yes I am really curious as to if this trick works. I heard about this before also. but I have never had my truck egged so I never had to try it.
I still say if you catch them.. Break one finder at a time... let me rephrase that. break every joint in each finger at a time. I am into punishment....
