Default In the market for a new truck

Hi everyone I’m looking for the best info from real world experience with the LZ0.
I am coming from a 18 Sierra LTZ z71 with 5.3. And before that an 03 Silverado LT 5.3 I work for a GM dealer so I have had plenty of behind the wheel experience with the LM2 engine even towing my camper which hardly is ever towed unless I need to bring it home to do some work on it over the winter ( 32ft Salem ) roughly 10k lbs. My 18 sierra handled it pretty well towing it the 65 miles from my house to the campground. I used a LM2 to tow it back to my house last winter and to my suprise I would say it did just as well.
Now I’m honestly torn between two trucks, 1 would be the Sierra ltz with the LZ0 or a RAM Rebel 5.7. I have used A Ram to tow my 3 ton utility dump trailer almost maxed out and honestly it did significantly better then my Sierra 5.3.
Most of the techs at work either drive Rams or Sierra’s and obviously pros and cons of both. I don’t want another 5.3 or 6.2 I have seen way to many issues with GM’s new V8’s even some total engine replacements with under 7k on them. However our two Diesel techs boths say other then the obvious issues with the LM2 there was no other surprises. And we have yet to see a LZ0 in the shop for anything other then scheduled maintenance.
So my question would be what’s your opinions on my next truck. I’m not one to turn trucks over every few years, usually I keep them for the long hull.
I hardly tow when I do it’s my 4 ton utility dump trailer, stone, dirt, mulch ect. Skid steer, and 15ft enclosed trailer 4wheeler, golf cart ect. Any other time it’s an around town daily driver. I know this is a GM thread but looking for real word experience with both the 5.7 and 3.0 and your opinions on them. I live in north west Ohio so I don’t see hills much lol.

There are two ways to find out what engine is in your Ford Truck

Check the VIN sticker: The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) sticker is located on the driver's side doorjamb. The eighth digit of the VIN will tell you the engine size. For a 4.6L engine, the eighth digit will be a ""W"".

Look in your owner's manual: Your owner's manual will have all the specifications of your truck, including the engine size.

Both methods are quick and easy, and you should be able to find the information you're looking for in just a few minutes.
