muffler question
I think what he means is flowmaster connected to original exhaust pipe. If that's the case then yeah no problem at all. They will probably charge you more in the long run for doing these things seperately though... just one of those gimmicks people use to get youto spend more money the first time.
I've never seen anyone do that but any exhaust shop can make the muffler fit your factory piping. Either they will take short pieces of pipe same size as your stock diameter and stretch open one end to match the muffler or they will do what they did to mine and just stock the muffler over the factory pipe and weld the gap closed..... thought this was a bit tacky but hey, its not like I'm looking at it so whatever.
oh and you can use whatever muffler you like. I recommend atleast theFlowmaster Super 40 series. I have this and it sounds great. Not really loud unless you get into it, then it comes alive. But they just released the Super 44 series which is something most muffler shops would have to order cause it's still really new. It is the same as the 40 just slightly larger and supposed to sound better. Only about a $10 difference at most shops so it just depends on how loud you want it. But either way they can make it fit with no problem.
