Its tuff to diagnose something like that without scanner readings....
About all I can say is...Go back to the point wqhere everything went to ****...It ran good,right?..before the cover came off?..so SOMETHING is wrong...go back over it and scan it all good!

For the time and trouble it may be beneficial to take it to a shop at this point.
Unless this isn't a vehicle you have to use on a daily basis.

Oh im only 16, i just would like to have my own car instead of using my parents. But i dont really want to spend the money on that. I also think i found a problem today and i plan on fixing it sometime this week probabaly tomorow. I found that on the back left corner the gasket or seal under the cover was out and not in line. so i think that could be where the air is getting in. So i will fix that tomorrow and let you guys know what happens. Also thanks for the replys.
thanks,
Randy

well I had the same problem with my 95 s10 blazer. replaced the spiders AFTER the white smoke also thew on the EGR valve for good measure.one quick question and statement, did it burn a LOT of gas right before you replaced the spider? the reason I asked is that my blazer started putting out a lot of white smoke and burned a 1/2 tank of gas on a 22 mile trip

White smoke is more common with a head gasket - it's actually steam.
