Default need specific guidance on my no heat problem

it's getting colder and I have little heat from the vents. the black box under the glove box is very hot.

can someone guide me to or post a picture of the actuator valve? Better get could someone post a schematic of what controls the fresh air door? I am getting tepid air from the vents after warm up. with the black box hot I am assuming the door is partially open and if closed I would get hotter air into the vent system.

This is what it looks like...the actuator.

I haven't been able to find an "in vehicle" photo.

From the info I was able to find it is outside the box. There were hints to the location being behind the center console. I don't really have a direction to point you in for a search. I tried everything from "actuator" to "air blend door actuator, silverado" in a google search without much luck.
Auto Zone or Discount may have a diagram on thier in store computers.

heres what you got to do- lay on your back on the floor on the passenger side- in front of where the middle seat or console is at look right under the dash- now you see the pic they posted for you it looks exactly like that- i would check the conection to make sure its not lose- had the same prob the damn connector was lose- good luck

when the truck has been driven and up to temperature there is a cool-warm feeling to the air coming from all vents. It appears to be equal throughout each vent.
