i dont care much for the front end of the new camaro but i like the rest. I would definitely try to restyle the front if i had one. im willing to bet GM will change the body stlying several times over the next few years, much like they did from the '80s to 1998 with the older camaros

Yeah but all they are gonna do is make it more aerodynamic looking. Right now everyone is going for the retro thing but I know in a few countries they are passing laws to make cars safer in pedestrian collisions and I'm sure we'll follow. All the new Mustang prototypes are showing exactly that. Going back to the 90's rounded off/smooth front end.

Pedestrians? If they don't like the way I drive they should stay off the sidewalk!
Are there really enough pedestrian collisions to warrant such a change in the US?

i dont know how much of a difference changing the front end will make....if you get hit by a car going 55mph its gonna hurt...no matter what

yeah, i doubt that will come into play in the united states, europe is a much more urban, congested area than america, we dont have nearly the pedestrian/vehicle incidents they do

I saw one of those a few days ago in a place I wouldn't want to cross. It made me think how ****ing scary would it be if you had to cross the street and couldn't see what was going on.

Thats why you send the seeing eye dog out about 4 feet in front of you. If you hear a "vroom...yelp..., splat" and the leash gets yanked out of your hand, then its not safe to cross.
