RE: New Camaro
Actually, a glorified chevy, a Cadallic. The LS2 is a awesome motor and i have enjoyed mine alot. Since i recently sold my toys for some recreational land to hunt and play on with my truck, i do get a itch for another sports car. I really like the GNX and the Challenger, but would pass on the camaro! Actually, I would save some money and go with a slightly used Vette, as i see some Z06's starting to show up.

You ever notice that Cadillac always has the goods out first, then it appears in the other brands (Chevrolet, Buick, etc) ? A recent example is for the 2009 Silverado and Sierra will have the newly revamped Escalade transmission.

I wondered about putting the six speed from the Caddy in our trucks.
Let them put the new stuff in "kept" women's SUVs. First year productions are more likely to have problems. By the time it gets to a Chevy most of the bugs have been worked out and R&D cost have been offset by previous sales.

I hear what your saying about the first year productions ...I've heard nothing but horror stories ....my moms Caddy STS was in the shop more in the first year than it was on the road ...and I'm not stretching the truth on that at all. The dealership or Cadilac compensated here in some way that made her pretty happy ...but she woudln't tell me what it was. She thought I'd fly out to the Washington DC area and kick their ***** for messing with my mom. lol
