Ok i have a 1988 chevy 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive with a 700r4 tranny. i bought my buddys gm 350 crated motor out of a 86 k5 blazerand got his th400 4x4 tranny with transfer case. well my problem is the engine wont mate up with my 700r4 because the spline is smaller on the th400 and am wondereing if i take the th400 tranny detach the transfer case and attach the rear of my 700r4 to it will it be possible or even work in the end.
