How are you all? I just bought a 1993 Chevrolet 1500 with the 5.7l carb'd engine (ext cab, tow package). It's lifted 2" and it's sitting on 35"s

The damn thing is stuck in 4x4, I can move the manual shift to 4low and 2hi and 4hi and it'll switch to lo when you go to it.

But the 4x4 doesn't disengage? What the heck is wrong with it? Theres like a tink'lling noise (like a loose chain) coming from the transfercase.

So I'm confused as to what I should be looking at, (automatic hubs).

What does it sound like to you guys?
