I installed those mods at the same time last month, and you'll notice a pretty big gain in power. You should do the throttle body bypass and remove your padsat the same time. It'll be like adding 35 hp.

Hey MrLM7 - where are those pads anyway? I heard you talk about them before, but I don't see them.

Sorry Smoke, just got on and read this. If you take off your intake and look under your throttle body, under where your coolant lines were attached, there is a large hole under your intake manifold and above your lifter valley. If you reach in there, you will feel the front one. It it about 6" wide. You just stick your fingers under there and get a good grip and tug. The top is up in the intake manifold, and you pull it down. To access the rear one, you just reach back there and do it. Harder than it sounds. But, it is in the same spot, just on the rear of the engine. Be sure not to lean on your heater core lines, those ****ers break off real easy...

MrLM7 - OK, I found the front and rear ones, but not the one up in the intake manifold. Can you tell me a little more specific? ANd you are right, the rear one is a pain in the *** to get out. I cut my hand a bit trying to get it out. There is no room in there. Best to get a person with small hands or a midget to get that out.

Sorry, there is no 3rd pad. I meant the top of the pads are tucked up in there in theunderside of theintake manifold. I guess now you know what I was trying to say. Sorry for the confusion.
