I just got this new S&B cai off ebay. It sounds great and helped the power. Its seems to be built really well. What do yall think?

Did you get any mileage gains from yours? I havent checked it yet but it seems better. It sure is throaty.

is that plexiglass on top of the filter? thats interesting, i've never seen anything like that...

 

It was right around $230. Yes it is plexiglass on the box. It is well constructed and everything fit nicely.

 

Reminds me of the Volant CAI which is what i originally wanted but got the K&N FIPK instead. My question is this? When you have or want to clean the cone filter, how do you? It LQQKS like it fits in that box pretty snug. I was just wondering... Thanx, Jim

 

well it cleans just like a k&n. It is snug in the box, you kinda have to turn it and work it out. the whole fender side and bottom of the box is open so you can take them back those directions toget room to tilt it out.
