He should put his resume in with GM if can get that kind of mileage.????

Call wait for me thell tell you 3 or 4 I think. But like I said he did a tune up also. We dont think his truck ever got new plugs and we used the E3 plugs. On HP TV they dyno tested those plugs and got 2-3 mpg's.

The only way you check MPG is to, fill veh, hit trip odo. run veh. fill. hit trip, etc.etc.etc. Dic is not best Barometer for mpg.

You can't MPG from spark plugs.

I have 04' z71 5.3 and it has 140,000. i put a k&n in it and it increased my mpg by 2-3 and now i get 18-20 consistantly. a big part of it is having a light foot

I buy the whole "E3" thing but I think you would be lucky to get1 to 2hp out of them on a stock fuel injected engine. Our V8s run more effieciently than a carbed race engine to begin with. I'll stick with my NGK iridium (sp?) plugs.
