The tranny in my 93' was great. I towed 12k with it alot. I also had 35" tires for a while. I abused it hard, and had no issues till it finally let go at 283k. All I ever did was flush it maybe 2 times.

I know 5 people with 4L60Es. Three had tranny problems; all were '01. I got rid of my '01 the first time it acted funny - 70,000 miles w/ a flush and filter at 36,000
