I have a 1996 Vortec 4.3L V6 manual and I am having considerable problems with my truck that I am having problem-solving. When the engine raises RPMs the engine while the truck is parked, it feels like the engine is choking, and at some times backfires. While driving when I start and I am in second gear at about 1800rpm the truck will start shaking like there is no power, and I am forced to go into 3rd, and the moment the truck reaches 30 MPH it will start shaking again, and I have no choice but to shift to 4th. The problem is if this is a hill because the truck is having a hard time going up a hill on 4th at 35 MPH.

My original codes where oxygen sensors

P0141 Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit bank 1, sensor 2
P0155 Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 1

I replaced both sensors and the catalytic convertor and the P0141 Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit bank 1, sensor 2 came back and a new error P1441 Evaporative Emission Control System Continous Open Purge Flow.

The wiring on the oxygen sensor looks fine, tested the fuse and relay -both fine. So I started to think that excess air or too little air might be bothering the oxygen sensor. So I replaced MAP sensor, the air charge temperature sensor, the Mass Air Flow Assembly and the Vapor Canister purge solenoid.

I started the truck and the engine was trying to turn off and I got a new error code PO102 which is directly related to the Mass airflow assembly. I searched and I did found that moisture on the plug can create problems that I am thinking that could be it because I was working on a very wet saturated day. Is that as simple as unplugged and use a hairdryer to dry the plug?

I have not driven the truck since I changed those parts, so I am not even sure if they are going to solve my original troubled codes.
