Okay i finally got my rear end back in my truck! it took about 2-3 week to get it all said and done. i put a new rear end in and installed 373 gears and a powertraxx no slip traction system. as soon as it was ready i took it out and just romped on it. it was awesome the truck was smokin both tires and started to go sideways. i havent noticed a big difference in the torque from the gears though but of course i have the posi in it now so that also is going to mask the gain form the gears but i love it i cant wait till winter for some snow to see about the traction gain!!!

Time to learn how to drive all over again. Easy on the pedal in the snow.

 

Does it get squirrely in the snow with a posi? cus the main reason i put it in there was because that if i stop in the snow i am screwed i cant go anywhere. im was hoping that the posi will helpme get around a little better.I know how to drive in the snow unlike the other 80 million people out there

 

Yea it gets squirrely in the snowlike when youmash the go pedal on dry pavment. Just be carfull going around slippery, snowy corners or any heavy right pedal action.Posi was one of the first things I did tomy truck when I bought it cuse the rearend was locked up.That first winterwas a fun season until it got away from me, luky for me someones front yard was the only thing around, and all I was doing was leaving a sotp sign.
