programmer
We can program your 99 better than any hand held plus we can get rid of the factory Torque Management, right now Good Guys Garage has a discount for Truck Forums members $320 delivered for your truck, even if you dont go with us a custom program is the only way to go.

HemiKiller has it on the nose. I had a Hypertec for my 00/Z71 then had Tbyrne Motorsports send me a new PCM. Ron Zimmerman who now is under contract with Dal/Cry since 1997 used to do all my re-programing but since 1997 he refered all west coast duties to Steve Cole who is in L.A Calif. I used Steve to re-program my 99/C5 & my z28/ss. I now have a Demon Programer for my 00/Z71 as well, just to clear all codes which here in Calif, the dlshps won't do unless you can show carb #s. I don't know where the 316 area code is so if your in Ca, I do not mean to step on your turf, only agree that there is no programer like a true shop re-program. I have to say that I believe that between my heavy foot and GM's weak "Sun Gear," I had to replace my tranny with 150k on my truck. I had my re-programing done at 15k so I can assure anyone that any convertor torque managment concerns are not an issue. I would take advantage of the "Stroker's," offer if he is local or I believe he would tell you you could send him your unit by mail.
