Ok, so I know there are a lot of different bolt patterns out there for the intakes. My question is can I put heads with the bolt pattern for 86 and earlier intakes on my 89 tbi engine? If so then after that I should be able to run any intake made for I want to say it was 69-86. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Yeah you can do that...the earlier heads will bolt right on then you can use a carb. intake and whichever carb you want. You can also buy an intake for your TBI heads to run a carb on. Good Luck!
