Radio # Lights Question?
On my 99 Z71 the #2 and the #4 dont burn but the rest light up, I would ask how do I change the bulbs? behind each # is there a bulb? that I can change, and if so do the #'s just pop off and on?
I have torn apart the Delco radio's before and found that you will have to solder the new lights into the circuit board of the radio. Plus you will have to get the new lights. I just got a new one from a junk yard. Good luck.
Thanks guys, I got another question I have a Honda once I changed from factory radio to a name brand radio, and also did this in the 91 Silverado I had an the reception was awful would hardly pick up any stations clear, and forget about using am, what makes the radio pick up the stations is there a level of something I can look for when buying a new cd player for the truck? Id rather keep what i got than put something else in and have no reception.
I should be better are you sure you had the antenna hooked up all the way. If you think you might have a problem go to Best Buy and have them do it they will make sure it all works fine for you. They might put it in for free if you buy the right one.
True True. Check your antena connections. Best Buy or Circuit City will do it for you and some times they have specails, but to me they are a rip off. I prefer to do my own work. Never had a problem as of yet. But I have picked their brains before I proceed to do the job myself. information is free, but worth a million bucks for a future project.
