Default Rear Brake Drum

Changing the rear brakes on my 98 Silverado and I'm having trouble getting the new drum on. Suggestions?

Make sure that you have the adjuster on properly. When i did them on my 98 I actually put one side on backwards and didn't realize that until I drove down the road and my right rear kept locking up

I've seen it where aftermarket brake shoes have too much friction material and it keeps the drum from sliding on. Maybe have to get GM shoes or have your drums machined until they fit.
