Rear Brake Removal Question... HELP

They are pretty flexible....bend er back if its hitting
OK, I took one side apart tonight to give everyone an update...
(how many posts do we need to post pics?)

The backing plate is definitely bent... it was rubbing the rotor as I pulled it off! I even checked the parking brake cable and I didn't see anything loose or defective.

Turns out just the passenger side rear brake baking plate was bent and I was able to bend it back to nearly what it was originally.

Here's a pic of how bent it was... notice the huge gap along the bottom.

Your guess is as good as mine. As I share the truck with my brother who just got his license last year so it really could have been anything. At least it's fixed now and I didn't have to pay the dealer $200ish it do what I just did.
