I have fond one good reason to remove it. That is if you are running a dry shot of nitrous. I guess it can freeze the screen.

 

I was under the impression nitrous was injected through a throttle body plate unless you were running the direct port nitrous injection.

 

To run a smaller dry shot(125or less) you would want to go thew the MAF so the computer can ad more fuel unless you are going to tune for it. I dont know allot about nitrous yet but I am doing some research. I want to throw a dry shot on the truck next. I figure if im going to rebuild it soon I can beat on it. But from what I have been reading a dry shot is pretty safe. Here is one thing I fond on it CLICK I have been pm-ing back and forth with this guy on another forum he really knows his sh*t. He is helping me come up with a good set up for my truck and teaching me allot about it.
