Remote start install
Which brand are you installing? I've installed a few by Bulldog and a couple of others. The Bulldogs are pretty simple. Others are a bit more complicated.
Best advice I would give is: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY AND FOLLOW THEM. Like installing a shift kit in your tranny, you can mess something up if you make a mistake or skip a step. You don't want to fry any electrical components.
It takes a good bit of time finding all the wires. Make sure you get the right ones. Just take it slow and easy.
I gather you've got all the relays you'll need, a security bypass module, and the wiring diagrams.
I would recommend this addition to anyone. Saves a trip outside when the snow is two feet deep. It's sure nice to have the truck warmed up and the windows defrosted when you get in. Downside is you consume more gas than you do now.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Only need that for warp speed or going back to the future.
Yeah, finding the wires was the most difficult part for me as well. With these Bulldogs, buying the add-on ignition harness makes it go faster and easier.
Enjoy your new remote start setup. Mine's been working for a couple of years now.
