Does anyone know how to go about removing the trim and emblems on a 99 silverado. Thanks for the help.

 

me and my brother both removed our emblems from our truck but we did it as soon we bought our trucks (within a couple of weeks) anyway we did it by getting a razor and trying to get it in between the emblem and the truck body, starting on one of the edges of the lettering and once we got enough to get a finger under it we literally just pulled it off. The emblem might crack on you but just keep doing the same with whats left. You might have glue residue left over but you can just take some goo gone or some other cleaner to get it off. Hope this helps you!

 

use a razor or paint scraper, heat gun, gloves that will protect from heat, and goo off. heat untill the emblems get e-z to move then take off the emblem. then use goo off to reamove the extra adhesive on the car.
