Has anyone had the problem of losing reverse gear in '97/'98 Chevy Silverado?...I have lost reverse in two trucks three times in three years. These trucks are really babied and in excellent condition. Reverse goes out while driving down the road at 55 mph, slight clunk, when you stop you can no longer back up. ...transmission repair shop repairs aprox. two of these transmissions per month. Local Chevy dealer has the same number of repairs???
