Shocks
Ok fellars I need opinions and suggestions for shocks on my 99 Tahoe 2WD. I work 6 months out of the year on the rigs and these lease roads full of caliche around here can bang up the suspension pretty good. Im getting taller tires(with more sidewall) to help this, but I need some thoughts about shocks, to help with the holes and dips on these roads. I love how the truck feels right now, but I wanted to see if anyone has any experience in doing this. Thx!!!
Personally, I have installed KYB Gas A Just shocks on my lowered Chevy pickup and my '68 Plymouth Fury. My pickup needs the preload, on the compression, to keep me off of the stops and on my old Plymouth.... it just firmed her up. I wasn't sure what I was looking for and I started buying them 2 at a time, to test them out. I ended up with them at all four corners of 2 vehicles and have no regrets.
