Having this problem with my 1998 chevy cheyenne. The signal clicker under the dash is on steady but the signal lights outside are not on. When you operate the signals during normal operations they work normal. When you put your foot on the brake pedal the clicking stops. I bought a new flasher but no change. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

usually that happens when you have an out lamp or a burnt filament on the dual filament lamps
