spark plug gap

Default spark plug gap

i was wondering what gap to set my plugs on a 305 carb engine, i am running a 650 eldlebrook carb, stock 305 with headers, right now i have them gaped at 35

look under your hood when you pop it

it should be right there and if its another engine that didnt come with the truck i suggest seeing what the engine takes

this is why i am asking the truck had a 305 tbi not a carb and i am thinking the gape would be differnt the 305tbi is set at 44 but i looked at most 305 with 4barrel carbs and they are set too35 so i was hoping someone knew forsure thanks anyway for trying to help

Yes your right.. It's .35 You could possibly go a little larger, do to your thirst 650 4 brl
