Steering wheel, 2006 Silverado
I was wondering about other Silverados, if its not the same year as mine, which is 2006, my steering wheel is not centered towards me when I sit in the driver seat. It is off to the right by a inch or two. I have the bench seat with fold down console. Anybody have this set up, just curious, or is this a bad engineering design by GM or maybe my truck got in accident prior to me buying the truck?

I know what you mean... You could say, your dash and steering column is fine and your seat is too big for the cab. Or the seat just wasn't meant for that truck.
There is a small amount of adjustment for your column, but I don't think it will be enough to make a difference.
Other then that, if you like your truck and plan on keeping it long term? I would suggest checking out some auto recyclers for some different styles of seats that will put you infront of the steering wheel

Well it sounds like you need an alignment. The steering wheel is off as far as the wheel doesn't set level and horizontal to the other lines in the dashboard? Or the entire steering column is shifted to the side?
Yeah my '96 is a "5" seater. Two in back and three up front. In reality, it's only a four seater .... I don't want anyone setting in the center. Unless she's pretty :P But it has the split bench seat with the fold down arm rest and two flip down seats that allow access to the back portion of the cab.
