Hey,

So I've recently done an engine swap in my '82 GMC Sierra Classic. It now has a 5.7 TBI. After this swap however I've noticed that the accelerator feels like you're stepping on a brick... it takes a bit of force before it finally decides to give. Naturally, this makes for a fairly uncomfortable experience.

My question is if there are any solutions to ease that tension a bit and make the accelerator a bit more manageable. OR am I just going to have to deal with it?

Take the cable off, and see if the cable is stiff.
