straight 6 to a 350

straight 6 to a 350

I have a 1980 GMC Sierra that has a straight 6 in it with a 3 on the tree transmission. I am wanting to take a 350 motor out of a 1977 GMC sierra that has a auto tranny but I want to use the 3SP, Is this possible? Can someone help Please

the 350 you are getting doesn't come with the tranny?

the 350 I want to put in my 1980 Sierra does come with a tranny but it is an automatic and I want to keep my 3 sp from my truck. I just need to know if it is possible to put a 3 on the tree tranny on a 350.
