I like to listen to the radio with both doors open but when the driver door is open the chime keep sounding. Is there a setting to turn off the open door chime?

 

if yours is a 98 orolder and you take the chime out........sell it to me. I bought a used 98 and the previous owner pulled the chime and couldn't find it. I want the chime back in.

 

I would gladly give it to you. The truck is a 2004. Is there any hope?

 

I thinkyou can turn the latch on the inside of the door jamand then the door thinks that it is closed. then when you go to close the door you have to pull the handle to reopen the latch and then you can close the door. Thats what I do and mine is a 2002.

I want to turn the chime off permanently on my 2009. We use it on my cattle farm, and I get tired of it telling me the door is open every time we stop to open a gate. Any ideas?
