Throttle Body Spacer

Default Throttle Body Spacer

I have been seeing alot of people say they put a Throttle Body Spacer on there vehicle does this help performance I have a Sierra 2003 V6 4.3L I could use all the help in that area I put the k&n and 1 into 2 dual exhaust would the spacer help even more.Thanks for any help.

Yes the spacer will help. It spins the air allowing it to mix with the fuel better. If you are wanting a little more power add the throttle body and install a new mass air flow scensor.

If you dont want to pay 300+ bucks for a new MAF, descreen the one you already have. It will cost you nothing.

Its very simple.. remove MAF. push screen out being careful not to break the wires. re-install MAF. poof, your done..

The throttle body spacers do make a difference, it gives you a bigger intake volume and "excites" the air similar to a vortec head, plus with a CAI it makes more noise : )
