Is it difficult to install? Would it work on a 305?

I have a K&N FIPK on my truck. Somewheres i thought i read that i can't use a TBS on mine, and i believe it as the intake tube is tight between the fan shroud and throttle body. Is it true, i cant use a TBS? Thanx, Jim

If you have electric fans you are good, if not, you will have to trim on the tube a little

What year truck do you have? I put a throttle body spacer on my 03 Sierra. True you should trim the fan shroud but you can squeeze the intake back on. It's REAL tight but it'll work. I really need to take mine back apart and trim the shroud but I just haven't had the time. Don't let that diswade you though because it's a very good mod for the money.

i got the trans dapt spacer for my 4.3 silverado and i was disappointed.... i opened it up and it didnt have all the parts that the instructions said that u needed> i was missing a few bolts and the spacers that go under the throttle linkage bracket... i had to go looking for that stuff andeventually found what i needed so ill let u guysknowhow well the 4.3 performs with the spacer on later
