throttle body spacer

has anyone used a throttle body spacer??
what kind of performance gains did you see??

on a TBI truck they work well but on the vortec motors they dont really do anything.

my experiance... we lost hp but gained throttle response...not worth it.

Yes I did say save your money and still do.
The season I use one is because I went to a BBK-80mm TB the spacer was 1" thick
had it machined to 5/8" with a taper so every bore piece lined up correctly. They
machined a grove in different places around it , so the air could try to spin around
at the manifold opening. Work or not who knows.
