I have a 1999 white Silverado Z71 and am looking for some new tires, especially the Nitto terra Grappler's, and am wondering what the largest size that will fit my truck without a lift. Will the 295/75R16's fit?

 

i think your max is 285/75/16, which i just ordered off ebay for 544.00 and free shipping, set of 4, best deal i could find, and the only way to get a nitto terra grappler in my area. what have you heard about em, are they good stuff or what?

also, i have my front torsion bars raised up to clear em, my buddies 99 2500 rubs with 265/75 but it dont think he has it sitting right

 

On my 2005 i clear 285 70 r17 just fine which would be the same as 285 75 r16 not sure on 295s if they will fit. And everything is stock on my truck as far as the height of it. Thanks

 

yea the 295 would be the same as your 285 cause of the 1 inch rim difference. if you can fit the 75s without rubbing then itll work.

 

No the 285 70 r17 is the same size as the 285 75 r16. Because of the 70 series with the 17 inch rim and the 75 series with the 16 inch rim. 285 75 r16 is 32.8" tall 11.3" wide and a 8.4 sidewall. The 285 70 r17 is 32.7" tall 11.2" wide and 7.8" on the sidewall. Were the 295 75 r16 or the 295 70 r17 would be 33.4"tall 11.6" wide and 8.1" side wall. Hope this helps. Heres the website i use.
