torsion keys

YES!!!! I have a 1993 k1500 sierra. Just raised mine 2 inches with stock torsion key. Threw the tires off a bit but I put on p285 tires and corrected the toe in a bottom. Noone can tell why stores are selling new keys from 150 to 400 dollars when you already have one. You will need a 18mm deep socket and each complete turn is around 1/4 inch.

Eight should do it. Mark the bolt head and crossmember with a crayon or marker to make sure you get complete turns. Double ckeck with ruler from center of hub to top of fender well. I evened mine to the same as back but after looking at it the front may be 1/4-1/8 inch lower. Getting ready to remedy that with Monroe air shocks to be sure. Each complete turn is about 1/4 rise in height. Took me longer to jack up the truck than get those two inches.

Sorry about pics. I'm technologically hampered. Jack up truck so tires are off ground. Follow the torsion bar back to the cross member thats at the back off cab. You should see torsion the key inside that with a bolt sticking out are.(both sides). Those are the bolts that will give you more height. Mark them and you will get 1/4" lift with each complete turn.clockwise!
