yea im pretty sure the kick down relay is on the fire wall along with the fuel relay

 

700R4s aren't as durable as the 400. Don't get me wrong, they are still good transmissions. If I were you I would do the conversion, but I would find a new or rebuilt 700R4, add a shift kit and an large transmission cooler. Then you'll be set and right gear ratio will give you much better highway mpgs.

 

alright. well i have the 400. and i have a shift kit in the 400. i also have a tranny cooler.

what is a conversion? ill be getting better gears and a posi within the next 6 months.

 

With conversion I mean swapping out the 400 for the 700R4.
