Hey fellas new to the site and just bought a 2004 Ext Cab Silverado. It's a LS, 5.3, cloth, center console, Bose, etc. It's got OnStar and XM.

Was wondering if anyone else has this option and uses it or not, but on the steering wheel there's button for the built in cell phone. Anyone use this? Is it any good, do you recommend it? Any do's or dont's?

Love the truck, just got it last night. By accident I found out that it has the auto folding mirrors,thats pretty cool! (Easily amused!!)

u se the XM and the onstar phone....it all works great, the phone is nice cause my wife doesnt know the number so she cant call me when im joy riding!! YESSS!

 

But I know the number... Give me your electric fans and I will not call her and give her the number![sm=laughat.gif]

 

It comes with 30 free minutes...and you should get a letter offering you 90 (I think) more for 14..95...good deal!

 

Mine has the same, onstar is nice and I keep that, but the XM is kinda expensive. I like it, but I want the option to pay monthly, and you get a much better deal paying 5 years at a time. I cannot afford that. I haven't looked into the cell phone thing as it also seemed expensive last time I looked.
